A Mother’s Goodbye.

Genre- Women’s Fiction

Wow. This book had tears streaming down my face at the end. I didn’t know what exactly was going to happen. But wow.
This book will pull at your heart strings, especially if you’re a mother. I’m still feeling raw after reading this. The emotions people. Seriously.

Heather is already a mom of 3 barely making ends meet with a husband who can’t work. When she gets pregnant for the 4th time, she has to make a tough decision.
Grace is a single, career driven woman who finds herself alone and wanting a child of her own. So she decides to adopt.
Heather picks Grace. And their lives become intertwined. Seems like a good idea at the time, then, not so much. Then some devastating news hits and the moms have a tough choice.

When I first started this book I was like eh. But then I got further into it and I was like whoa! I couldn’t put it down. So if, at first you’re thinking “Why am I reading this?”. I’m gonna tell ya the exact page that my mouth dropped. Page 198. Don’t read ahead!!! Just be prepared.
I recommend reading this book if you like emotional reading. Have tissues handy. Now that I’m a mother, I swear the emotions are simmering at the top. It doesn’t take much to make me tear up, whether it’s a sappy commercial or a dog dies in a movie, watch out for the waterworks!!

I’m hoping to get a little more reading done this summer. Make sure you add this book to your reading list.

Here is what Goodreads says…https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/39752303-a-mother-s-goodbye?ac=1&from_search=true

“My arms ache with the need to reach and hold my precious child, and then to never let go. But I can’t. I know I can’t.’ Heather is devastated. There’s no way she can keep her baby. She can barely pay the bills as it is. But when she meets Grace, a wealthy, single career woman, who wants a baby more than anything, Heather believes she has found the perfect adoptive mother. As Grace and Heather’s lives become entwined, they are tested to breaking point, though neither can deny the other’s love for the child. But just when they think they are learning how to live with each other, they receive devastating news that turns their fragile world upside down. Will either mother know what is the right thing to do for the child they both love? An absolutely gripping, emotional drama with a tear-jerking twist. If you love Jodi Picoult, Kelly Rimmer or Diane Chamberlain, this will warm your heart, make you cry, and stay with you forever.” *via Goodreads.
