Notebooks, Planners, and Calendars. OH MY!! What do you like to use?

Notebooks….. I LOVE NOTEBOOKS! I love to write lists. I like to write down what needs to be done for the day, even if I don’t get to it. Or if I do something that is not on my list, youbetcha I’m writing it down so I can cross it off! (Oh, and the fact that I am so very forgetful! #mombrain)

I don’t do blocks of time, that just doesn’t work for me. When I get to it, I get to it. I look at the beautiful bullet journals, but just can’t see myself doing all that pretty work. The most I do is write the day and date in color and the list in blue because I love blue ink. I follow some bullet journal peeps on Instagram and I’m like...sigh…If only….

Planners…. I’ve tried, and again I just can’t keep it up. What!? I’m lazy! My tablet works just fine. (Dude, I loooove when back to school sales pop up so I can stock up on tablets! SHWING!) But there are sooo many pretty planners out there!!! I just feel like I’m making more work having a planner, since I write everything on my other calendars and I won’t carry it with me. If planners work for you, awesome. Maybe you can teach me a thing or two. But as this blog starts taking off, I may have to look into planners again because there is so much to do and remember! (Yeah, probably not.)

Calendars…. Oh yeah. That’s what I’m talking ‘bout. (Doing a happy jig. Now the running man. Join in!) I have a big dry erase calendar in my kitchen that I use to see the whole month. My husband, kids and I each have a color so I know, at a glance, who has what going on. I just love when a new month starts and I get to erase and start a fresh new month on my dry erase calendar….because…adulting.  I also have a 12 month calendar hanging in our kitchen for future events and appointments. My kid’s school gives us a calendar too, which I use for the goings on and days off and what not. And last, my calendar on my phone. This has everything from my other calendars all in one place for when I’m on the go and need to see what’s going on (also have a color for each family member). And it’s nice because I can set reminders and send events and appointments to my husband’s phone calendar so he knows what’s going on, too. Because it’s a crazy schedule with kids!

This is how I try to keep on top of the craziness of life. Hope this helps you find a way to keep track of the chaos and craziness in your life.

Do you use one of these? Or maybe all? How do you keep your life and kids stuffages organized?

This is probably the only organized area in my life….sigh.

Until next time…

I may have to try using my phone since lets face it we don’t go anywhere with out them anymore. –thanks……
I am a planner addict…from appointments to school stuff to blog stuff…..Finding the ‘perfect’ planner was not an easy task. As I needed it big but yet small to fit in the purse… okay purse isn’t a good word for it….duffle bag?!?! yikes…

My phone has it all! I just felt repetitive with a planner, but again, may have to look into again for all the blog stuff!!!
