We started going on family vacations when my daughter, Liv, was I think 1 and a half. And we’ve gone every summer, except for one, since then. And that summer we missed, we crammed in a bunch of day trips.
For us, summertime=vacation time. We leave for our family vacation tomorrow! Woo hoo! And every year I make a packing list. And every year I say I should print one and I never do. So, I’m sharing my list I usually make and hope it can help you out, too.

This year we are flying (First time for Alex (6), second time for Liv (10), but she doesn’t remember her first flight at 2 and half). But I’ll still pack pretty much the same things. But with flying I reeeeally have to cut back. Which is hard!
I hope this list is exactly what you’re looking for! I must have a list because…well, I love lists! And also because… Mom Brain!!
Do you use a packing list? Where are you traveling this year? Enjoy your summer and feel free to share!
*Here is a free Packing List printable!*
This is a general list of things we use. Add any extras to the printable once you print it out!

July 13, 2017 at 10:04 pmSo funny, I just happened to come across this post and we are leaving for vacation tomorrow too! You sound a lot more organized than me though. Right now my “packing” consists of 800 piles all over my house, all of which are 1 item short of a complete set. Better set my alarm for tomorrow…
